Overview
As part of this year’s Gathering, we are planning some fun social activities on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) before the Gathering starts. For golf fans, we are planning is an outing at nearby Linden Hall Golf Course at 432 Linden Hall Rd., Dawson, PA 15428.
We have reserved multiple tee times starting at 10 am. The golf outing will be a 4 person best ball scramble and you are welcome to have your own foursome or we will assign you with a random group. No prizes for the winning team. We are just planning a day to have some fun at the golf course. Of course, we can’t keep you from bragging and heckling rights among the other golfers. It will be a best ball format, with each player taking their shot and then the team chooses the best one and then everyone hits their next shot from there. Each golfer will also be given 2 mulligans on the front nine and two more mulligans on the back nine. Mulligans can be used anywhere including the greens. However, you cannot give your mulligans to another team member to use. Hey, we are just looking to have fun and if it helps you to feel better about your golf game, then it is all good!
Linden Hall is a fairly open golf course. You are in Western Pennsylvania, so expect some hills. Any women golfers will tee off from the red tees. Male golfers that are 60 and over will tee off from the gold tees (senior tees) and male golfers under 60 will all tee off from the white tees.
As you make the turn from the front nine to the back nine, Linden Hall has a snack shop where you can buy your own lunch. Lunch is not included in the $50 registration fee.
At the conclusion of your round of golf, we will have a putting contest at the putting green near the first tee box. The putting contest is optional and we will have some modest prizes for the top several winners.

You may register online by clicking on this link. Or, you may register by including your name and any other golfer names in your group and send payment in full by June 1st. Checks can be made payable to: Larry Beatty and mailed to 455 Jumonville Rd., Hopwood, PA 15445. You can email me (Larry Beatty) at [email protected] to pay by VENMO if that is more convenient.
Lunch is available for purchase at the golf course after finishing hole #9 and before teeing off on hole #10. Lunch is not included in the $50 registration fee.
