Grow

Similar to the caterpillar/butterfly m e t a m o r p h o s i s , the beautifully marked gecko lizard undergoes a similar change. The gecko becomes aware that change is coming as it becomes dull and uncomfortable, feeling squeezed and trapped within its own skin. What once was so part of vibrant life has now become a prison of self. The old version of the gecko must give way. It must let go and shed the old to discover again vibrant and new life within.

And you, just like the caterpillar and gecko, must come to the end of the old you to discover the new and improved you by knowing the Lord in a way you have never yet known Him. This is the process that God uses to make the new and improved version of you.

Each time you grow you become the greater version of you with a greater capacity to love. And with that greater capacity to love comes a greater heart to serve. And with that greater heart to serve comes new growth.

God will bring into your life greater challenges, more difficult people, situations far beyond your ability to resolve for the distinct purpose of needing Him in a way you have never needed Him. That gives God the ability to reveal Himself in a way that you have never known. When you know God in a way that you have never known Him you grow.
